Retirement sums for the selected year

Published CPF figures are used through 2027. Later years are planning projections.

The ERS shown is the maximum applicable in that calendar year. From 2025, the ERS was raised to four times the BRS. Years after 2027 use a 3.5% annual planning projection and are not official CPF amounts.

Important calculation notes

Retirement Account growth is projected at 4% a year and excludes future contributions, withdrawals and extra-interest effects across combined CPF accounts. Deferred payouts use CPF’s public illustration of an increase of up to 7% for each full year deferred, up to age 70. Actual payouts depend on the member’s profile and CPF’s prevailing actuarial assumptions.

CPF has published cohort retirement sums only through 2027. For selections from 2028 onward, this calculator projects BRS at 3.5% a year from the 2027 amount, sets FRS at two times BRS and ERS at four times BRS, and scales the age-65 payout reference proportionately. These future figures are planning estimates, not CPF announcements.

Standard Plan references use CPF-published estimates where available. Because CPF does not publish one universal conversion factor for all three plans, the Basic and Escalating starting payouts are indicative estimates derived from an illustrative CPF plan comparison. Escalating payouts are then increased by 2% yearly. Basic Plan milestone totals use the starting payout as a simplified level estimate and may be overstated because actual Basic payouts can progressively decrease when CPF balances fall below S$60,000.
