A little about you
These details help us calculate the right tax year and applicable reliefs. Only the starred fields are required.
Earned Income Relief changes at ages 55 and 60.
Used for CPF and SRS eligibility. This calculator assumes you are a Singapore tax resident.
First/second-year PR CPF rates can be graduated. Estimate assumes the standard G/G arrangement.
This calculator uses Singapore tax-resident rates. It does not calculate non-resident income tax. Please confirm your tax-residency status before relying on the result.
02 · Income
How much did you earn?
If you know your final chargeable income after reliefs, you can calculate tax immediately. Otherwise, enter gross income and explore reliefs step by step.
This must be your chargeable income after all deductions and reliefs, not your take-home salary. No further reliefs or rebates will be deducted.
Quick route: skip CPF, SRS and family relief pages. For accurate funding projections, future chargeable income is grown using your selected income growth assumption.
Want to find out which tax reliefs may reduce your bill? Enter your gross taxable income before personal reliefs, then continue to the next pages.
Total taxable earned income: employee wages (including taxable commissions), NET self-employed trade income, and NET platform earnings, before personal reliefs. Do not subtract employee or platform CPF contributions again.
E.g. net rental income. Leave blank if none.
CPF rules depend on whether income comes from employment, platform work or self-employment. Regular monthly commission generally counts as Ordinary Wages; irregular bonuses or commissions can be Additional Wages.
Include monthly salary and any taxable commissions and bonuses. The remaining amount is allocated to platform work and/or self-employment.
For platform work, use earnings AFTER the applicable CPF fixed expense deduction (FEDA), not gross platform receipts. Exclude this amount from self-employed MediSave net trade income.
If born in or after 1995, increased platform CPF is mandatory and this question is not needed.
Enter only irregular bonuses/commissions classified as CPF Additional Wages. Include them in the employment income above (not on top of it). Regular monthly commission should remain within Ordinary Wages. Your payroll records determine the actual CPF classification.
Use your income for the selected calendar year, not the amount of tax already paid. This calculator covers individuals, not companies.
03 · Optional
CPF, SRS & insurance
Enter any amounts you are eligible to claim. Your compulsory CPF and estimated MediSave are shown automatically where applicable. Enter eligible additional reliefs only if you have them.
—Based on employee wages, age, residency and the relevant CPF ceiling.
Employee share only (not employer CPF), estimated for 12 equal monthly salaries plus any annual bonus entered. CPF Board's actual figures may differ due to wage timing, birthday month, PR rate agreements or low-wage rules.
—Calculated from your net self-employed trade income, age and income year.
Usually compulsory when annual net trade income exceeds S$6,000. This estimates the required contribution for the chosen work year using standard non-pensioner rates. Tax relief is based on compulsory contributions actually paid in the selected income year, which may relate to an earlier work year. Excludes platform earnings already reported by operators. Only paid compulsory contributions are deducted from tax. Enter the actual paid amount from CPF records; leave blank if none paid or unknown.
Compulsory MediSave rates differ for qualifying pensioners.
—Based on net platform earnings, age, opt-in status and CPF rates.
Platform operators deduct and submit the worker's share. The estimate assumes equal monthly net earnings from one platform; actual deductions differ for multiple platforms or uneven monthly earnings.

Subject to relief conditions and annual limit.
Subject to relief conditions and annual limit.
Eligibility depends on qualifying insurance and CPF contributions.
Used for the applicable life insurance relief cap.
SRS contributions can reduce taxable income but are not the same as savings available to pay a tax bill. Their withdrawal rules are separate.
04 · Optional
Family reliefs & other deductions
Add family-related claims and eligible donations if applicable. You can skip this page.
NSman reliefs & donations
Eligible NSmen who have completed full-time NS.
Singapore Citizen wife (or qualifying widow) of an eligible NSman.
Singapore Citizen father or mother of an eligible NSman. Only the highest NSman claim is counted.
Assumes qualifying donations receiving 250% deduction.
Parent / grandparent relief (up to 2 dependants)Child reliefs
WMCR only applies to eligible working mothers. Child order and citizenship determine the claim.
Start with Child 1, then add up to six children. Enter them in birth / adoption order, even when an older child no longer qualifies, because child order affects Working Mother’s Child Relief (WMCR). The calculator checks basic eligibility; Qualifying Child Relief is S$4,000 (or S$7,500 for disability-related child relief), before sharing with another parent.
Other eligible reliefs (S$)
Checked the relief categories above and still have another eligible claim? Enter the amount here. Do not include any relief already entered. You can compare with the official IRAS relief list.
Enter only the relief amount; not the tax saved.
Personal tax reliefs are generally limited to S$80,000 in total. Qualifying donations are treated separately. Parenthood Tax Rebate is not included in this estimate; IRAS may apply an available rebate to reduce your actual tax bill.

10-year lock-in: No withdrawals in years 1–10. Tax bills due during that period must be paid separately and cannot be funded from this savings plan. Withdrawals begin only in year 11. Planning illustration only. Constant investment returns, unchanged future resident tax bands, withdrawals only from year 11, and repeated applicable reliefs are simplifying assumptions. Annual investment losses, product charges, insurer conditions, eligibility changes and tax-payment dates could materially alter results. Tax liabilities due soon should be funded with liquid, suitable assets. SRS money is not treated as unrestricted cash.
